It is more than obvious that the main inspiration behind Vezba is the love for Bulgarian traditions and history. Today we decided to tell you in a little more detail what are the things that motivate us to do everything with such desire.
You have probably come across thousands of similar historical rankings on the Internet, but this is ours - without unnecessary pathos, just what we love in Bulgaria :
1. "Our mountains green..."
And not only. Bulgarian nature has no equal in the world and no one can convince us otherwise. From the majestic Rhodopes to the wheat fields of Dobruja, through Thrace and all the way to the beaches of the Black Sea - our homeland seems to have collected the most beautiful landscapes in one place. It is no coincidence that one of the most inspiring things for us is to travel around Bulgaria to touch the primal magnetism of our incredible nature.
2. The sun is shining, it's raining...
We love that in our country there are four seasons, which gives us the prerequisites for so much fun and adventure (which is also helped by the nature we already mentioned). It's never boring here, and while in the winter you can go skiing in the mountains, in the summer the Black Sea beaches become your second home. And spring and autumn are for connoisseurs - the thousands of colors that surround us turn even everyday life into a fairy tale.
3. "Historius, thou judge of the most high..."
Thus exclaimed the great Bulgarian poet Damyan Damyanov. This is how we exclaim every time we remember the great past of our people. Although the lessons are often bittersweet, the lessons of history are something we keep within ourselves and try to learn from. The battles won, the diplomatic victories, the rebellions, the revolutions and the change of regimes are the things that often remind us that we are Bulgarians, this is our country and there is no force that can tear us away from this piece of land.
4. Thirteen Golden Ages
Although in historical terminology there is only one Golden Age, for us every age is golden, because Bulgarian culture always manages to find its way. The writers, musicians, artists and all the artists that Bulgaria has given birth to are countless, and their traces in world history are clearly visible to this day. What is even better is that we Bulgarians do not stop creating, and with the development of technology we have entered many more limits of art, which often gives us reasons for undisguised pride.
5. The traditions
We can't help but finish with traditions - the main motive in the adventure that is Vezba for us. All the tales, myths and legends intertwined with the unique Bulgarian folklore are a proud part of our past, to which we turn every time with pleasure. Crafts, customs and ancient rituals , which are passed down from generation to generation, make us feel part of a common whole, and this feeling is sometimes more than pride.
That's why we love our work and we do it with the goal - to convey to as many people as possible a piece of the spirit of Bulgaria, a part of its magnificent history and to help the traditions continue forward in the modern world in which we already live.
