The Winged Kanatitsa
The winged Kanatitsa is a symbol whose dating cannot be precisely described. Its name comes from the ancient Kurdish languages and has the meaning of "wings", "wings of..." At its base we again find makazis, which symbolize the masculine and feminine. Here they are opposed, but also connected in a common inseparable whole. "Wings" can be interpreted as their continuation of life, or in other words - the generation they leave behind.
The figure is considered to protect against evil forces, and its bearer is raised on its "wings".
Kanatitsa is widespread not only in Bulgaria, but also in the culture of many civilizations around the world.
In this case, the Winged Rope is embroidered in a golden color that symbolizes the divine and the creation of new life, namely the symbol of the sun and infinity.
