Round neck

The embroidery "Round Neck" depicts the image of the Mother Goddess in the center, who "guards" her fetus in her womb.

The similarity between the external and internal elements can be taken as a sign of reincarnation and the connection between the earthly and spiritual worlds. The closed ends above and below spell out the inseparable connection between birth and death, representing the cycle of life and its infinity. It itself is traditionally a symbol of a new beginning.

The central figure is embroidered in a golden color, the symbolism of which in Bulgarian folklore carries the meaning of the divine. It is this - the "new beginning" that is gilded, since the creation of life and the leaving of a generation are raised on a pedestal by our ancestors.
