Fertility 2.0

This embroidery is taken from the sleeve of a woman's Ikhtiman shirt. The general composition is Elbetica , with the eight main directions of the world clearly expressed. Vespa represents the spiral of life, expressed through the roots of the floral elements - tulip. The root is always twisted like a spiral, symbolizing new life developing and fertility. From the roots, in the four main directions are the blooming tulips - one of the precursors of spring. The process of growth is always associated with flowering, which in turn symbolizes fertility.

In the center of the embroidery is the symbol of the mother goddess from whom life originates. The tulip flowers are represented by two parts, the inner one expressing the feminine and the outer, shaped like wings, the protective masculine. Around them are embroidered the images of the sun, giving life according to beliefs.

The small petals surrounding the heavy colors of the floral elements are particularly characteristic of the Ikhtiman embroidery, always shaping the embroidery in a geometric shape - circle, square or rectangle.
