DJ 89 is the younger brother of the electronic duo THE BROTHERS. It presents their live works, produced by the two brothers from Sofia, mixing different musical styles from the contemporary scene with original music.

"BROTHERS" modernize the Bulgarian folklore, preserving the folk creativity left by the ancestors and giving it a new sound, which aims to serve as a musical textbook for the coming generations.

In 2 years, their music and videos have been watched by nearly 8 million people from all over the world. In 2017, on the Day of the People's Awakeners, they presented their debut album [BALKAN TRAP], and the song "NAROD", which is part of it, became the most successful project to date with millions of views. In 2019, in March, the BROTHERS created and officialized their second album called [FUTURE FOLK], which included the folk singer Boryana Vasileva. Her friends - Simeon Marinov (clarinetist) and Alexander Parvanov (trumpeter) were also involved in the creative process, who united and created a musical band called - "BALKAN BAND".

[BALKAN TRAP II] is the name of their third official music album. It was presented with a premiere date - 01.01.2020. with the song "THE MOUNTAIN", in which Sorina Bogomilova from NFA "Filip Kutev" participated. On 02.02.2020 was the premiere of the latest work called "BURGARS, HEROES", aiming to motivate and bring joy back to the hearts of Bulgarians 26 years after we became 4th at the World Cup in the USA in 1994. They are called by their followers "Modern Awakeners".
